On December 22, the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) celebrated its 18th anniversary with the Public Open Day Art Festival. Under the theme of "Eighteen Years of Youth, A New Journey in Art," this year's festival featured a series of spectacular events integrating art and technology. Mini Pi plus from High Torque Robotics was invited to participate, performing a tech-infused dance to celebrate the artistic gala and emerging as a highly anticipated interactive highlight at the event.

Tech-Enabled Lion Dance: Revitalizing Tradition

During this art festival, Mini Pi plus made a stunning debut in custom red lion dance costumes. A team of six Mini Pi plus robots formed the "Mech Lion Dance Troupe" and performed alongside the Huiyue Marching Band of Dinghuili Primary School Affiliated to Capital Normal University.

To the stirring melody of the marching band piece Dragon Rhyme, the Mini Pi plus robots danced in sync with the support of group control technology. With swaying lion heads and agile body movements, they not only preserved the vivid charm of traditional lion dance but also incorporated the rhythmic precision of future technology.

The distinctive stage image of Mini Pi plus benefits from its unique modular design, which supports the quick replacement of appearance components, enables a versatile transformation of looks, and flexibly adapts to the requirements of different performance scenarios and visual styles.

Future Theater, Continuous Interaction

At the "Future Theater" on the south side of the third floor of the concert hall, High Torque Robotics and leading domestic technology manufacturers jointly presented innovative achievements in the integrated development of technology and art.

Mini Pi plus remained one of the focal points of attention throughout the event. It not only demonstrated its group dance choreography capabilities but also vividly showcased High Torque Robotics' technical strengths in robotic motion control, collaborative performance, and human-robot interaction through warm interactions with the audience.

Art and Technology, Forging a New Journey Together

This celebration showcased the latest achievements in the integrated development of technology and art. Mini Pi plus' appearance in traditional lion dance costumes is a vivid practice of High Torque Robotics' concept of "empowering art and culture with technology." We believe that technology is not only a tool, but also a bridge connecting the past and the future, as well as art and the public.

Going forward, High Torque Robotics will continue to advance the in-depth integration of robots with scenarios such as culture and art, education, and exhibitions. It will further stimulate innovation vitality across the entire chain from scientific research and education to the consumer end, gradually realize the vision of "enabling everyone to own a humanoid robot," and promote the integration of technology into daily life to serve the public.

High Torque Robotics now offers services such as commercial robot performances and custom brand IP collaborations.
