August 15,
The second day of the 2025 World Humanoid Robot Games marked the start of the official competition.
Today, Mini Pi stepped onto the field for its very first Games.
Courage to compete, cuteness first, results second.
Standing at just 65 cm tall with short legs and small steps,
Mini Pi stood among a group of "bigger brothers" —
creating the most adorable height difference on the field.
It may not be the fastest or cover the longest distance,
but our Mini Pi is brave and determined.
We believe it’s essential to take part in meaningful events like this —
to learn and exchange ideas with the “big brothers,”
while also spreading positive vibes to the audience.
Perseverance in Small Steps
From the very start of the race,
Mini Pi quickly fell behind.
Yet it never left the track—
instead, it kept moving forward, step by step.
Though slow in pace,
every stride was taken with determination.
The audience, touched by its effort,
cheered for its true sportsmanship.
You focus on speed —
I’ll handle being adorable.
At this stage, robotics is still in a phase of research and development.
Results aren’t the main focus — what truly matters are the possibilities.
It’s about enabling more people and more diverse robots to participate and push the boundaries together.
